This is probably one of the most common questions I get asked. I usually respond with a quick, “I’ll take that as a no.” The reason is simple: snowboarding is a hobby, and there is no reason to take it for granted. When you are at the top of a mountain or on the shore, you have a right to be fully aware of your surroundings.
When you hit the snow, you don’t have to be fully aware of what’s around you. The snowboard is an instrument of motion and you can use all the controls to take the most extreme and extreme position to stay that way. It all depends on the snowboard you have. When I first started I decided that I was going to be a skier, but I wasn’t that good, so I decided to use my snowboard to get a quick workout.
In today’s snowboard art, its not about a single person taking extreme positions, but the whole package. What most snowboard artists do is use big boards with small bindings for a small group of riders. The big board makes it easier to hit the snow and harder to slide. The small board is more stable and allows more people to put on their skis.
