And while you’re at it, you know the other reason I love Oakley. The company is currently working on the production of a new snowboard helmet, one that’s made out of synthetic suede. I have to say that I’m not thrilled about this whole idea because the best ski helmets have been made out of suede. The kind of suede that makes you look like you just jumped off a cliff.

But I must say this, the company is definitely pushing it. The new snowboard helmet will be available in a few different versions. One will have a suede/leather visor, and another version will have a metal shield.

The company is also working on this helmet with the intention to start manufacturing in March. This is a very cool idea and if Oakley gets its way I might be able to have one myself.
