My daughter’s cat, Luna, has graduated from being my cat to being a grad student. In her senior year of high school, Luna’s graduation party was attended by friends and family. We have been to their graduation parties since they’ve moved in and have enjoyed the festivities. This has been the first time I’ve seen Luna not wearing a collar, so I was pretty excited for her.

For example, what you might want your cat to do when you are not around is just sit in front of the TV and purr. They don’t like sitting still and purring.

I think this cat-degeneration is actually a good thing. I know cats are great for being cats, but my personal pet hates his new surroundings almost as much as he hates his previous environment. He hates it because he is a cat and he hates it because he is a little boy, and he wants to be a cat again.
